Thanks to the central location of the hotel on the Costa degli Etruschi you can take daily excursions to main Tuscan cities. Cultural jewels such as Siena, Pisa, Volterra, Massa M.ma, San Gimignano or Florence, can be easily visited.
You can also reach the Isle of Elba from Piombino in about an hour with the ferryboat, or you can chart a sailboat at Marina di Salivoli. (Piombino).
Nearby medieval villages like Suvereto, Campiglia M.ma, Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci and Populonia, feature local gastronomic delicacies.
Wine lovers can tour La Strada del Vino through the main wine cellars of Val di Cornia, where it is possible to buy olive oil and wine as well as other regional products.
